On February 6, Niigata Ajinoren Honpo (1 Nanyo, Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture; Yukio Watanabe, representative director) began selling the cute “Hana no Le Kori. （Flower Le Cori）”Le Colli” means “package” in French. The “Hana no Le Colli” is a very popular series that has continued for more than 20 years, with a different package design for each season: spring, summer, fall, and winter.
“Usubeni” in the large box and “Haru” in the small box. Both have cute designs, and it was hard to decide which one to choose. Of course, being a big eater, I chose the large box.
According to Keiko Yako, 39, manager of the company’s planning section, this year’s theme is “Gathering(Tsudoh in Japanese)”. The word “Gathering” expresses both “people gathering” and “flowers gathering. It also represents the fact that the era of the virus disaster is over and it is almost time for people to gather in earnest, and the design of the package shows flowers gathering.
This spring limited design will be available until the final shipping date of May 26, and the summer limited design will be available from May 30.
